About Dr. Allan

Dr. Kyle Allan was trained in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine at Michigan State University and completed a Fellowship in Sports and Interventional Spine at Michigan Sports and Spine Center. He pursued over 150 additional hours of education in Regenerative and Orthobiologic Medicine during his residency and fellowship training. He also served as clinical faculty and an assistant professor in osteopathic neuromuscular medicine at Michigan State University before joining CHARM in 2023, where he continued to grow, refine, and evolve his practice with the expanding body of evidence in this innovative field. 

He remains engaged in academic medicine as adjunct faculty. He has instructed courses such as the Sports Medicine Elective and the Student OMM Clinic at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Allan enjoys spending time with his family—his wife, two daughters, and son—traveling, smoking meats, BBQing, swimming, wake surfing, and snowboarding.


Dr. Allan’s Approach

Dr. Allan takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to evaluation and treatment, crafting individualized plans to restore optimal function. Rooted in osteopathic principles, his philosophy aligns with the goals of Regenerative Medicine and Orthobiologics—supporting the body’s inherent capacity to heal, regulate, and maintain itself by restoring both structure and function. His integrative strategy incorporates physical therapy, osteopathic manipulation, massage, nutrition, and mental well-being to achieve lasting results.

Education And Training

Dr. Allan earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, in 2013. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2018. He completed a Transitional Rotating Internship at Mercy Health – Muskegon in 2019, followed by a residency in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Michigan State University, which he finished in 2021.

Dr. Allan then pursued subspecialty training through a Sports and Interventional Spine Medicine Fellowship at the Detroit, Michigan, Sports and Spine Center. During his postgraduate and fellowship training, he completed over 150 hours of advanced hands-on cadaver-based coursework in Orthobiologics and Regenerative Medicine, focusing on ultrasound—and fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
