The CHARM Approach to Physical Therapy
CHARM’s physical therapy methods include the Redcord Neurac® Method, Neubie® (neuro-bio-electric) direct current stimulation, Microcurrent Point Stimulation, Postural Restoration, Class IV Laser Therapy, and more.
Every 1:1 physical therapy session begins with a thorough functional assessment, focusing on your personal goals. Then, we provide you with corrective exercises that empower independence and control. Our goal is to make you the expert.

Redcord® and Neufit®
The Redcord Method® is a specialized, suspension-based treatment that focuses on restoring movement and improving physical function through controlled, pain-free exercises. Using a system of ropes and slings, Neurac (NEURomuscular ACtivation) provides personalized support to help patients activate the right muscles while reducing strain on the body.
Redcord Neurac® utilizes 1:1 guided closed chain exercise with graded body weight off-loading to restore optimal neuromuscular control, making it highly effective for patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain and limited functional movement.
Neubie® is an innovative neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy that delivers targeted neuro-bio-electric direct current stimulation to decrease muscle tension, accelerate recovery, and enhance function by identifying protective responses and retraining the nervous system. This process accelerates recovery and enhances mobility even in the most complex pain cases.
Combined, these therapies can help improve movement quality, increase function, and deliver deeper, more sustainable relief for patients with chronic pain or movement limitations.

Conditions Treated at CHARM with Physical Therapy
We use Redcord Neurac® and NEUBIE by NeuFit® to treat various neuromuscular and orthopedic issues. By addressing the root causes of dysfunction—neurological, muscular, or structural—these methods help reduce pain, restore movement, and accelerate healing for patients of all ages.

Combination Therapy
The Neurac® and Neubie® Methods are powerful therapies, particularly when used in combination with:
- Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS): Delivers low-level electrical currents to targeted points, releasing muscle tension, repolarizing scar tissue, reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and relieving pain.
- Classic IV Laser Therapy: Photobiomodulation is the painless application of therapeutic laser light into tissues to stimulate cellular repair and boost oxygenation while reducing inflammation and pain.
- Postural Restoration (PRI): Focuses on minimizing muscle imbalances and asymmetry to restore proper breathing patterns, posture, and ease of movement.
